Hi, having issues with storage, syncing and Lighroom.
I had a notification in Lightroom that my Creative Cloud storage was full so I deleted half my Lightroom photos using the app. I then went onto lightroom.adobe.com to make sure they'd deleted there too. I also checked assets.adobe.com, which is empty. However, I'm still getting the notification that it's full whenever I use Lightroom. It won't sync because of this.
Do I just need to wait for it to sort itself out or is there anything I can do?
Thanks.

Hello @PeterB2 – Apologies for my delayed response. I followed your instructions above. It looks like deleting 200+ photos from lightroom.adobe.com did free up some storage.
Now my main issue is that I'm still over my storage limit, despite the previous deletions from the desktop app.
Thanks for your help!

Glad to hear that helped. I see you have some videos stored as well. If there are any of those that you don't need available in the cloud and you have a local copy, consider deleting them as they are much larger. Of course, you could also consider upgrading to a plan that includes more storage.

@PeterB2 yes it did help but it does not account for the thousands of photos I deleted via the desktop app that are not reflected in my storage. That is still the main issue.
If the storage accurately reflected the files I deleted on the desktop app, I would not need additional storage. Can you advise how I can get my storage to reflect those deleted files? I don't want to pay for more storage when the system isn't accurately reflecting deleted files.

Got it - can you confirm that those deleted files are also not present in the web view at lightroom.adobe.com? That will help us understand what has gone wrong here and then address it.
Thanks,
Peter

Hello @PeterB2 – Correct, I can no longer see my previously deleted images on the web view. However, they still appear to be counting against my storage capacity. Thank you!

Thanks @PeterB2! I have 7 days left before my storage expires. Do you have any sense of an ETA around a solution for this? Thanks again for your help.

Also having this same problem. I have deleted every single image from my Lightroom and yet it still shows I've exceeded my storage limit. There isn't a single photo or album and I've cleared my cache as well. Is there a way to override the cloud limitations and force the app to sync so it can catch up? Pretty crazy that so many people have had this issue for years and it's still not been fixed.

Sorry you are running into a problem here.
I am still seeing storage associated with your account. I also notice that your subscription has expired. There may be an issue updating the cloud status with your expired subscription. If you intend to resubscribe, can you please do that and see if the problem is resolved. If you are not resubscribing, suggest you try to delete your account using the option in the Preferences dialog.
Let us know how those options work for you.

Hello,
I have the same issue: Lightroom web says cloud storage is full. I deleted several albums with several hundreds of high-resolution images and even then I am not able to upload a single image due to the warning that my cloud storage is full. Most of the photos in my cloud storage have bee uploaded directly through the LR web interface and have never been synced with the mobile or desktop application. I am also not able to see the reclcyle bin folder in the web interface. It seems to me like somebody here is trying to push the users to upgrade their accounts by making it difficult to delete files.

OK, I found what was the issue at least in my case: when you delete a whole album, it doesn't delete the photos inside the album. It only deletes the album as an organizational concept, but the photos still stay there. If you already have deleted the album, you need to go to "All Photos", find the photos from the deleted album and delete the photos. They will go to the recycle bin and even without removing them from there, your storage usage will be reduced. Now it is debatable whether this is plain stupid or intentionally complicated, to make users upgrade cloud storage, but it is what it is. This is not the first time I've found Adobe web UI very unintuitive - I had hard times with some details around building my portfolio too.

Hi - I'm experiencing the same issue and feel like I'm going crazy. I've tried all the solutions listed on the forum and still can't. Probably deleted over 10k images by now. Please help.
