P: Ability to select Lens on Lightroom Camera App

The latest smartphones are equipped with multiple cameras so for photographers they are a bit like having a DSLR with interchangeable lenses.  I just acquired one with telephoto and ultrawide lenses in addition to the default wide lens.   With the PRO mode of the phone's built-in camera app, it is perfectly possible to select a lens/camera and capture RAW files (DNG format) for editing later in Lightroom.   However with the camera included in Lighroom Mobile, you can only use one default lens.  To fully exploit the phone hardware and the nice features of the Lightroom camera, it would be really good to be able to select any one of the available physical cameras/lenses.
I appreciate that this might mean manufacturer-specifice code in Lightroom but it could be worth exploring what is possible to enhance the interest of the Lightroom camera with the latest phones.
[I only have experience of Android phones but I have tagged this post for iPhone as well, assuming it is relevant.]

The Lightroom app on my Samsung Galaxy S25Ultra just updated and now I have lost the ability to switch lenses. Any suggestions?

I can adjust shutter, WB, ISO but the previous setting to choose the camera's lens is gone.

Why I can't select telephoto lens (2x) on my iPhone 15? There is only wide and ultrawide option.

because adobe only hires people to delete complaints from their forum

Been years and no support from adobe, very disappointing. Can't use the telephoto or ultrawide lens on my nothing phone 3a.

Missing it too (of course) on my Moto Edge 50 Ultra.

Adobe, when will we see an update that allows Android (Pixel) users to switch lenses in lightroom for mobile?

And also be able to use the 50MP camera on the new Pixel 9 Pro phones.

You won't. They don't improve this product. Adobe only cares about leeching
all your hard work into their AI model while incentivising toxic sales
people to run their business into the ground.

Im not a techie, so I don't know how difficult it would be for the devs to implement some changes in the LR camera app, specifically to android phones. I like taking pictures in LR camera as I believe it gives me more freedom to tweak. But it is totally weird that switching between multiple lenses can't be done on this app. Sticking to primary cameras and pinch zooming and not allowing switching between lenses which is already a cliche, is it really hard, devs?

it's very hard for them. they have more people employed to delete
complaints on their forum than they do working on the app

I am also missing this feature on my Pixel 7. I have three front cameras and one "selfie" camera. The lightroom app only allows switching between the main front camera and the selfie camera. Zooming will only zoom digitally, and not switch to the tele or wide lenses.

Using the native camera app is not an alternative, because the Pixel 7 app does not have a manual mode or manual focus. Please add support for the other lenses.

They aren't ever going to add other support. They are too incompetent and
driven by greed

Pixel  6 and I would also love to have this feature.

But - based on the experience with other features availabe for iOS but not for Android like borders - I am not very optimistic that Adobe will implement it.

It seems that Android isnot loved by Adobe or Adobe does not livne Android users.

I use a Pixel 8 Pro, and would love to use all 3 lenses with the Lightroom camera. I would also like to have a highlight warning like iPhones do.

Really Adobe, all those AI gimmicks, and something as basic and trivial as selecting a lens on Android still not implemented. It can't be that hard, can it?
