P: Changing size of thumbnails (UI Mac)

Lightroom Desktop: Grid View

To zoom in and out in grid view to change the size of thumbnails, is the tiny slider on the right bottom corner in the UI the only way to achieve this?

I would love to have a two finger pinch to zoom action and shortcuts for this which would be much more accessible.
