Versions are good but very awkward on iPad. They require a lot of tapping around in the UI to get very small tasks done which make them a very casual feature and far less usefull than what they could be.
What I'd like to see are keybaord shortcuts (and potentially gesture shortcuts):
- Open the versions picker in normal mode
- Open the versions picker in 'named' mode
- Create a named version (even when the picker is closed)
- Cycle through previous/next (named) versions
We can't duplicate photos or create variants on mobile yet and the advise is to use versions instead, but those keyboard shortcuts are urgently needed to consider them more as part of a normal workflow
