P: Same feature set on all platforms for content management

Lightroom have significant feature differences across the supported platforms, which result in a quite different user experience depending on the platform. My request is to implement the existing feature set in all platforms, especially those features concerning image review and classification.

So far, Ihave used LR on Win, android and ipad

On windows version I miss the filter by dates, or at least date segmentation as in mobile.

On ipad/android. I miss many things: compare 2 images, apply a tag to multiple images, add location info, add gps data, search on tag list, check the albums assigned to an image, see all content contained in an album group...

Many of those requests are apparently not so hard to implement, and would contribute to reinforce the multiplatform aproach, that plays a significant role in my subscription decision.

Thanks for your great job!

I agree that it would be helpful to have full feature parity between the various apps in the cloud ecosystem, and I understood that it was still an Adobe goal to achieve that. However, I suspect that it will not be as easy as we might hope, given the fact that the various apps started life at different points in time (so some may still be playing "catch-up"), and of course they are having to deal with the various different operating systems, the "rules" for which are likely to be different in certain areas, which in turn likely affects what is actually possible.

Also, the different amounts of screen "real estate" available on each platform may be another influence on the development approach taken. Also to be considered is the fact that all the apps use the same underlying Camera Raw develop engine, so any changes made to Camera Raw have to be incorporated (as best as possible) into all apps, presumably leaving less available develop resources to spend on achieving feature parity.

But I agree it would be great to get some of the differences ironed out, sooner rather than later.

On the flip side, having differences in functionality and UI has lead me to find new features as I go hunting for what I was looking for.

Yeah this can be frustrating. I want to sue my iPad more, but the lack of GPS (heck the lack of GPX import across the LR [cloud] offerings is very frustrating)
