The ability to view and edit device images that was added in version 8.4 is fantastic. However, I would like have those edits reflected back to the device library instead of saving a copy.
Not sure about Android but iOS does allow you to revert edits on images in the photos library even if they were made by a separate application. This is great for non-destructive type edits.
Photoshop Express already does this through the settings. You can disable "Save a copy" and it will save directly to the original photo after a prompt. Really fantastic to be able to view the edits in the photos application and not have copies all over the place.
I was planning on use Photoshop Express for this type of editing but navigating the device photos is very painful in that app. However, it is nearly perfect in Lightroom. All around, I would prefer to use Lightroom anyway since I've used the classic version for years.
Adding this save settting to disable "Save a copy" to Lightroom would fit my needs exactly. Thanks!
