P: Generative fill could not be used due to connection

I can't use Generative fill and received notification: generative fill could not be due used to a connection issue. Anyone has problem and how can fix it?

Launch Windows Defender from the Control Panel. Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall. Add Photoshop.exe and Creative Cloud.exe Click back at the top left. Click Advanced settings.

Click on Inbound Rules. Make sure that you allow on both Private and Public for Adobe Photoshop 2024 and Creative Cloud. 

 

Click on Outbound rules. Look for "Adobe Unlicensed Pop-up". Click on it and then click Disable Rule. 

Then relaunch Photoshop and try the Generative Fill again.

Hi @Kundan0D45 the solution for this is to simply close Ps and reopen.  This will reset the tie Ps has to the server.

I had the same issue and realized I had a VPN connection running so that I could connect directly to a clients server. I still had internet access via my browser but it was disrupting other programs to see there was a connection. Whne I disconnected the VPN, generative fills started working again.

Ich bekomme bei der generativen Füllung die Meldung:

Der Dienst ist derzeit stark ausgelaster....

Ich nehme das Lassowerkzeug, markiere einen Bereich und ohne ein Keywort klicke ich generieren an, dann kommt immer diese Meldung, das schon an mehreren abenden. Ich habe die Generative Füllung noch nie nutzen können.

i am having the same problem with Macbook pro. and its not the internet speed. I hope Adobe finds solution in this because i cant use the generative tool always saying high demand users.

I have been trying to use Generative Fill, but I haven't had any luck. I tried using the option, but it keeps loading and displays a message saying it's too busy. I also attempted to resolve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the beta app, as well as updating it, but unfortunately, I still haven't had any success. Generative Fill has become an essential part of my editing workflow over the past two weeks, so I would greatly appreciate it if this matter could be resolved.

Hi @hakeemrx "Generative Fill has become an essential part of my editing workflow over the past two weeks" - You may want to review the terms of the beta. While in beta this is to be used for testing and personal use only.

After updating PS 2023 BETA to the latest version this morning, I get this message:

Creative fill could not be used due to connection issues

I got a perfect and fast internet connection

Hi. At the beginning, the Generative Fill was working fine.
However, after one of the updates, it stopped working.
I don't have a VPN, the firewall is turned off, the internet connection is excellent, and I don't have an antivirus. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting, and using different photos. I am using Windows. Do you have any other ideas? Support has mentioned all the options I listed above, and they don't have any other suggestions.

I'm needing urgent help 

 

I recently just updated my computer to (Ventera version ) and downloaded the photoshop beta but the AI gernerate fill will not work, I tell it to add flowers, or make the gass tall it WILL NOT GENERATE TO ANY PROMPT I SAY I've tried generate fill to expand the Picture BUT IT CONTINUES TO SHOW ME "We are expecting high demand please retry your prompt soon"

@ianw48661311 curious if you are seeing this on your team account or personal? Could you log off and back in your CCD to test and make sure you are seeing the same issue with both accounts?
