P: Lightroom Classic>Edit in PS: Long Delay+Erroneous Error Message opening Ps Beta 2024 25.0

I just recently updated Photoshop Beta to 2024 v25.0 on my Windows 11 machine.

 

Now when I try to open photos from LR 12.4 using the "edit in...", it hangs up for a time and then comes up saying "The file could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop 2024 could not be launched."

 

When I hit "Ok" it then opens the file in Photoshop 2024. 

 

This happens with every file, even if Photoshop 2024 is already up and running at the time. 

 

This does not happen with 2023 v24.7.

    @UNFOTONY 's solution works:  If you roll back Lightroom to version 12.2.1, then exporting to Photoshop Beta 25.0 works fine.

        For all.

         

        If you roll back Lightroom to version 12.2.1, then exporting to Photoshop Beta 25.0 works fine.

         

        We are losing a couple of new lightroom features, but for most, this is not critical.

          Add my voice to those clamouring for 24.7's generative fill to be restored, or, perhaps better, for 25.1 to come out with a fix for the LrC opening issue!

            I fully support! Turn generative fill back on in version 24.7. In version 25.0, export from lightroom does not work - the same as what was written above.

              This is driving me crazy. I rolled back and it was working fine for a bit, but now to use PS generative fill, I'm getting error that I need to update to latest version.

                Beta for 24.7  Generative, fill isn't working as of August 14, 2023.

                 

                v25.00 Still still bugged when importing from Lightroom On MAC studio.

                  As we feared, it's the 14th of August and NO Generative Fill in 24.7 Photoshop Beta. Adobe, please extend this as it's the only Beta working with Lightroom at the moment. Pretty please?
