P: Pucker and Bloat Tools in Liquify have pressure setting greyed

Community Beginner ,

I'm experiencing an issue with the Liquify tool in the latest Photoshop Beta (version 27.0.0 from sept 25th).

In the Liquify window, the Pressure setting for both the Pucker and Bloat tools is greyed out and stuck at a value of "1".

However, the tools behave as if the pressure is set much higher:

  • The Pucker Tool acts as if the pressure is at 100.

  • The Bloat Tool acts as if the pressure is around 50.

I tested this using a Macbook Pro M2, using the trackpad with "Stylus Pressure" not enabled and I have also tested this with a Wacom tablet and the "Stylus Pressure" option enabled, but it has no effect on the tool's intensity. The pressure remains uncontrollable.

Hi @okneu
This is working as designed. The Brush Pressure sets the speed at which distortions are made when you drag a tool in the preview image.  Since you don't drag the Pucker and Bloat tools, it's not relevant.
