After cropping an image, the picture disappears and I'm left with a blank 'onion screen like screen

After cropping an image, the picture disappears and I'm left with a 'onion screen like screen display.  This has only just started the upgrade to beta release 23.

For the onion display/ghosting issues, have you tried deactivating the native canvas yet?

  • Go to Preferences > Technology Previews and enable Deactivate Native Canvas.
  • Restart Photoshop.

 

If you give that a try, does it resolve this for you?
