Help needed! PS scripts removed in bridge 2023 by PS 25.0 beta

after installing PS 25.0 beta, the photoshop item in the bridge tools menu disappeared.
obviously, it's intentionally removed after i've accepted to let bridge 2023 install new ps 2024 startup scripts. i took a peek into photoshop_v2024.jsx which obviously was installed with ps 25.0beta. the code attached makes me suspicious about this.
help is needed here as i'm in a book production where i need to run image processor pro in PS 2023 from file selections in bridge. the missing photoshop section in the tools menu affects the PS 2023 version too. that's a show stopper now 😞

anyone here with an idea of how to solve this problem or with a possible workaround?

I see the 2023 script restored after (re-)installing Ps 2023 24.7.
