Community Beginner ,
Aug 22, 2025 Aug 22, 2025

Hi there,

I wanted to install the Beta version of Photoshop but there is no button "Beta version" in my creative cloud. Am i missing something?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers, Ruby

This is strange. Just rebooted the desktop and now the beta button is there! Don't wonder why, it's fixed for now. Thanks for replying all!

Kind regards,

Ruby

I've moved your post from Photoshop to the Photoshop Beta forum.

No, it's not there, same as the website version after logging in. Might it have anything to do with Creative Cloud?

Try the steps here and let us know if it helps:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/enable-beta-apps.html

"Based on your operating system, go to the following location, and then delete
the ServiceConfig.xml file:

  • Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\Configs\
  • macOS/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs/"

Also, please answer Kevin's question.

Hi Jane,

Thanks for replying.

I can’t find the xml file. The path you suggested ends up with C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE, the Configs tab isn’t there or doesn’t show. Instead there’s a PDApp folder.

Any suggestions?

@rubyv97984796 are you a single subscriber or are you a teams/enterprise/educational account? If you are one of those, that option may be managed by the plan adminstrator.

Hi Kevin, thanks for replying. I have photography subscription, single user. I used to have several accounts though.

Go to Adobe ID website find sessions. Cancel them. Sign in again as single user. Hope this will help.
