Photoshop Beta 25.0 Suddenly crashed while editing a picture and will not start again on MAC OS.

I removed the Beta version and installed it again and it wont start. It crashes. Deleted Photoshop 2023 to see if there was a connection but no. Still the Beta version crashed. Removed Beta files and still crashes.

Downloaded the previous version Beta 24.7 and Photoshop worked except the Ai tool. Needed version 25.0 for that to work but its the version that keeps crashing when I try to open it. I have tried different trousbleshoots without avail.

Hi @Christian31820823b15s when you say you removed and deleted versions, are you using the Creative Cloud desktop app to uninstall cleanly or manually deleting apps off your Mac?

I used the Creative Cloud App to uninstall the program. Then proceded to delete the folder that Adobe creates.

There is another update coming later this week that should address this issue.

It was running fine for me on a MAC M1 running Ventura 13.5.1 until I installed the Photoshop (Beta) v 25.1 yesterday, now it keeps crashing.

How ironic. Update v 25.1 fixed the crashing issues for me.

I uninstalled the beta version and reinstalled the update I received this morning and it still crashes. Since downloading the v 25.1 update I continuosly get a message saying "Error reading machine specific preferences They will be reset to defaults" I click "OK" and photoshop Beta opens and then crashes. I realize it's a beta, but still, it's frustrating.

I was running into the same issue on M2 Max // 13.4.1.  I think I had "Open using Rosetta" on by default for CC programs -- once I disabled that, the issue resolved on PS-b 25.1.

Hope that potentially helps.
