Photoshop beta 25.1 and 25 critical error

hi all ,  i m using Window 11 and couldn't start up PS beta, it got critical error message.

i have tried downgraded to 25, still got same error message;

tried downgraded to 24.7, can start up PS, but couldn't use generative fill, it ask me to upgrade newer version in order to use it.

hope there's a way to fix it ...

yes same problem, generative fill wasn't showing up in latest version (25.1) so downgraded to V24.7 then got an Error400 and the solution said update to the latest version

mine is chinese version but i think its same message as "朝子318330087dw1"
version is 25.1 which is the latest version can sync from the creative cloud

I solved this bug. Windows' user name was in Korean, not Roman, and when I logged in as a new user with only Roman characters, it was executed.

My window user name and Adobe user name are all English characters..

But it seems this error is sth related to non-english version user(?)

@geffy67 It's a beta version!!! The purpose of a beta version is to test the software under as many different configurations as possible. It doesn't help anyone just to write "it same rubbish". It's better to post the error message and the system info so that the Adobe programmers can check where the problem is .

it refers to the update it worked then updated meant it did not work and the new update still does not work if it aint broke dont fix it

i have updated the PS beta today (5/9), version 25.1, it crashed once at the first time, then works well afterwards, thank so much for the team's hard work!

The error code I receive when I tried to update Ps(Beta) v. 25.1 is Error Code 116. I've also tried to update Photoshop v. 24.7.1 and v. 25.0 but also struggle with a failed update. The Photoshop updates don't give me an error code, only the Ps(Beta) has. I'm not sure what the antivirus software is called so I'm unable to locate it and delete it. Would love guidance on how to locate that and figure out if the failed Photoshop updates are correlated to the Ps(Beta) failed update as well.

Are the issues everyone's reporting in the O.P. and below for commercial Ps 25.1? Or, specifically the Ps beta?

I was about to update the commercial rel. from 25.0 (I don't run the Ps beta at all). When I saw this thread, I hit the brakes.
