Photoshop Beta LOOP Tool

I've been using the new Photoshop Beta on my Mac Studio for several months.

Two updates ago, my LOOP tool started showing a simple cross rather than the Loop Icon when I engaged it to loop something.  The LOOP functionality has not changed, just the shape/look of the tool cursor.

If this is what Adobe wants, I'm OK with it, but I don't want my installation to be different from everyone else.

I know someone who is running the same version of Photoshop Beta that I am.  He is running it on the older iMac with the intel processer.  He still has the loop tool icon and not a simple cross.

Is my situation unique or is there a setting I need to change?

By "LOOP tool" do you mean the Lasso tool?

If you go to Photoshop (Beta)>Settings>Cursors, what is the setting under Other Cursors?

Thanks Jeff.  That was it.  How and when I toggled that 'precise' setting is beyond me, but I must have.  I was probably experimenting and then forgot what I'd done.

All is well😀

Please don’t post on this Forum if you are talking about Photoshop (Beta) but on the correct Forum:

@Jackve6a

I've moved your post from Photoshop to the Photoshop Beta forum for you.

Is your Caps Lock key on? Does turning it off fix your issue?

Thank you, Jane.

I didn’t notice that there was a forum for each. Whoops!
