Preparing a print in cmyk whilst using camera raw

I'm hoping for some advise- I understand that you cannot use the camera raw filter in CMYK workspace - if so how do people edit a picture for print - is it that I work in RGB so to have the full use of the camera raw filter on photoshop and then convert to CMYK after to ensure a decent print quality? I tried only once and found even after conversion the pictures had a full yellow hue ?

thanks for any help this is a new thing for me and I'm just unsure how it works. Many thanks in advance

I do this all the time. My job requires finished files in CMYK, but Camera Raw and some of my filters (NIK and Luminar Neo) reguire RGB. You might want to convert from RGB to CMYK to check the color gamut, then convert it BACK to RGB for editing in Camera Raw - and then back to CMYK for printing.
