This technique does not seem to work anymore in the current beta version of Photoshop Version 25.9. Any solutions?

But it works in Photoshop 2024.

Yes it works in the stable version of Photoshop 2024, but not in the current Photoshop Beta version. Was this feature removed in the beta version? This would seriously limit the functionality of Generative Fill.
