The AI is exhibiting unusual behavior today. I have an image of a round, green object on a relatively simple gray and white background. I roughly select my subject and command the AI to "delete". Surprisingly, none of the results completely removed the original object, and here's the outcome I got on my first attempt... It's a rather questionable proposition, and I'm genuinely astonished that this could happen with such a common and straightforward request in Photoshop.

Hi @laure31703606mpzj curious what happens if you just leave the prompt area blank, does it remove it then?

Hi @CoryShubert I initially began by leaving the box empty, which is what I've always done and usually works quite well. Instead, I ended up with cabinets, men in questionable positions, and various kinds of space contraptions. A delightful mix that had my team and me laughing, but none of the results were conclusive.

That is odd, not sure why that would be. We downloaded the file you shared and all of our attempts to remove it failed as well. Will pass it on to the team to see what they think.
In this case, it was much quicker to use the marque tool and make a selection from top to bottom of the left of the image, copy and paste it, then transform and drag it across and cover the object... not sure if that is what you were looking for but an easy workaround for now.

Thank you @CoryShubert , my post is primarily here to demonstrate the AI's behavior. I was able to effortlessly remove the object while retaining my selection and filling it based on content-aware fill. But thanks for your advice, that technique would have worked very well too.
