Remove Tool becomes very slow after a long session of editing

Hello,

Ever since I started using the Beta (I think it was 24.7) the Remove Tool has a bug. When first starting Photoshop the tool is very responsive, similar to the Healing tool. Removals are almost instant. After a 1-2hr session of editing the Remove Tool gradually becomes slower and slower, up to the point where removing a simple 30px wide spot takes 2-3 seconds. "Larger" selections like 500px wide take 5-8 seconds.

Restarting Photoshop fixes this, but it's a hassle if you still have lots of images loaded up.

My system shouldn't be a problem, and the cache/swap is set on a separate NVME drive.

Thanks for checking this out.

Bogdan

Hi @Bog22  curious what happens if you switch to more stable?

Thank you, Cory! Will switch that and report back after I see how it behaves.
