Remove Tool removing and AI-ing more than selected

Today I was trying to remove some shadows with remove tool and it just "removes" and/or AIs things that are not selected you can see screenshots attached below.

Screenshot #1 is the selection I made with Remove Tool of shadows I want to be removed

Screenshot #2 is what i got after removing shadows

Screenshot #3 is what comparison side to side how it add some AI things to the passport itself, You can see it bends the line and adds some texture that was not there.

    Hi @Dom Crow 

    There are a few things you can try.
    • Undo the Removal and redo. The result will be different each time. Repeat until you get a desirable outcome.
    • Change the painting area. A small change makes a very different outcome.
    • Select and keep the key subject (hand & passport) in a separate layer you don't like the slight bending of the subject. Put it on top of the removed layer.

    That are is not selected, it's not supposed to edit it at all?
