Select and Mask is not working as it has in previous versions.

PS 24.7.0 BETA

Select and Mask is not working as it has in previous versions. 

I cannot seem to get the edges to feather properly. 

 

Also I get some artifacting after drawing a while in Select and Mask.

 

I have been PS 24.5.0 to use Select and Mask Properly

 

 

Mac Book Pro 16in 2019 

2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9

32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB

1TB internal SSD

OS Monterey 12.3

    Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

    /Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)

    /Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)
    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings )Win)

    Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

    With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

    It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

      1. Would you be able to attach a screen recording or any screenshots detailing the behavior you are experiencing? 
      2. Did this happen immediately after updating?
      3. If yes, could you revert back a version and test if the issue still persists? Screenshot below on how to access a previous release.
