Shape Dynamics appears to be turned on for Remove Tool

Photoshop Beta version 26.9 on MacOS 15.5 - Using remove tool while holding shift... it appears as though shape dynamics is turned on.

Hi @45079476 holding Shift will contrain the tool to either a straight line left to right or up and down... the tool works the same way in Ps release version.
