So, we will need "Credits" to use Generative Fill when it go out of BETA?

Or it will be included 100 % included with our respective subscription plan?

I ask this, because since some time i keep hearing about this from some youtube channels.

And if that is true, it will be really expensive from some users to pay extra money to use the GF + the already paid price of the sub. plan.

So, i would like you guys from ADOBE to be honest and let us know this, i'm sure there is not much time left to GF to go to the stable client, so i'm sure you already know about the plans for the GF.

It's pretty lame to introduce new tools into Photoshop that you are paying for and then charging you credits to use those tools.  It just pushes me away from using Photoshop which I have been for 20+ years.

    yep I will be finding a different way to edit photos soon this pay through the nose for credits ontop of subscriptions that we already fork out for is something I won't stand for, I don't care how good the software is I will drop adobe like a hot potato.! and Never come back.

    @kevmath What subscription are you on? I have never gotten anywhere close to using up my monthly genAI credits, even when I'm iterating a lot on retouching and compositing.

    Looks like you will need to pay an Extra charge (apart from the base subscription plan) to buy credits that let you use the Generative Fill tool.thats not fair brother for poor people like me😞😞😞😞

        If they do this it will be the biggest rip off in history, so I hope midjorney or another company can make plugins for us.

          Very misguided on Adobe's part to implement restrictions on the use of generative AI ... for true crop expansion Blake Rudis offers a technique on his f64 site where he literally uses 25 generative layers to fix the poor resolution caused by the 1024 image resizing process. At this rate I would be able to process 4 images with the new process.  https://f64academy.com/ai-gen-expand-horrible-watch-tips/  I am a hobbyist and as I suppose everyone else was, I was trying out the new program yesterday and today to see what I could accomplish. I don't think there was one image where I didn't use at least 10 generative layers to complete my "vision".

           

          COME ON ADOBE ... WE'RE PAYING ENOUGH AS IT IS. WHY CREATE A WONDERFUL PRODUCT AND THEN SPOIL IT BY GENERATING NEGATIVE FEELINGS AROUND QUOTAS. YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

            Just as Adobe does not provide any information about release dates of updates and/or new versions, there will also be no corresponding information about licensing and so on before the release date.

            I would ignore all relevant information on YouTube and other social media. Someone picked up on some infos, interpreted it in their own way and then spread it as what was to come in future, whether it was true or not. I'm very careful about what I believe or don't believe.

            So we has to wait and see what's coming.

            Ok, thx for the reply, i did special emphasis on Aaron Nace video because he said he talked with "ADOBE guys" and they said the thing about Credits.

            But i understand if you guys are not authorized to say nothing about it, thx anyway for the reply.

            I also asked directly to an ADOBE employee on the official youtube channel about this, and he didn't tell me anything about Credits or maybe he just hides that info to make buy the plan, hehe...
