To those STILL stuck on Photoshop Beta 24.5...

...are you using a Personal OR Company/School account?

Because I'm on a team (Company) account, I wonder if this is the issue for me because 24.6 is still unavailable after 3 days of uninstalls, checking for new updates, etc. Two others I know have the same problems and are on Company accounts.

Our IT permits beta downloads, so I don't think that's the issue. I can download 24.5 just fine.

This might also address the "solution" to change your age in Behance. Under the company account, my personal profile doesn't seem to have age settings -- is it just for Personal accounts?

Just trying to troubleshoot this with the community at this point

Hi @Troy21807623k5aa this has been well documented in this forum.

If your IT has allowed beta access (you see the beta section under Apps in the CC Desktop app), and you do not see 24.6 available, here are some thing to check:

1. Uninstall all previous beta builds.

2. Log out of CC desktop app.

3. Restart computer.

4. Log back into CC desktop app.

The Behance age verification is once you have the beta installed and cannot use the Generative fill:

If you find that Generative Fill is greyed out for you, it is possible that you may not have a valid Date of Birth associated with your Adobe ID account. To update your Date of Birth, you can do any of the following:
• Log into Behance with your Adobe ID and enter your Date of Birth.
• Log into your Adobe account and enter your Date of Birth. To learn more, see Error: "Not eligible to use Creative Cloud services".
Once your Date of Birth is up to date, relaunch the Photoshop (beta) app to enable Generative Fill.
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/generative-fill.html

Be aware that if you have previously entered a DOB and you are underage, the date cannot be changed. If you have not previously added age verification, and cannot enter your age verification via Behance, Adobe Customer Care can assist you. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and log into the site. Click the chat pod on the bottom right and type AGENT to get a real person who can help. Be patient 1:1 customer care puts you in a queue. Or you can reach out on Twitter at AdobeCare

Well documented but not a solution for me unfortunately.

I am now on a new PC and still unable to see updates beyond 24.4.1 and beta 24.4
1. I have installed Creative Cloud
2. I have installed the release version of Photoshop (only shows 24.4.1)
3. I have no betas installed, although I have the option to do so.
4. I have logged out of Creative Cloud multiple times and rebooted
5. I've clicked Check for updates multiple times

Hi @Troy21807623k5aa can you go to your installed version of Photoshop /Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

It could be that your computer does not meet the requirements for newer PS versions past those.

Also you noted in your first post "I can download 24.5 just fine." now you are stating you cannot get updates beyond 24.4.1.

This seems like your IT is managing the releases and not allowing users to do manual updates. Can you check with them again to make sure they are not managing version deployments to users? It would explain why you are only seeing versions from earlier this year and not the latest beta or PS general release.

Yes. I will check with them.

Because I could see and install beta apps, I assumed they weren't restricting updates. But if they have control over specific versions, that may be the issue. I'll let you know what I find out. Thank you

@Troy21807623k5aa your IT also has options to contact Adobe support directly via the Admin console to assist you instead of the general public forums. If they cannot resolve, that may be the next step.
