In at least the last 3 Photoshop Beta 25.0.0 Release updates the release number has remained 25.0.0. What if there is a serious bug (like we had just last week with control-e from Lightroom Classic) and we need to download a previous version?
Besides that Photoshop Beta is working great now!
The release number has changed but the version is still 25.0 - check your Help Menu System info for the full number which includes the release date.

Yes ok fair enough yet if we want to go back to a release only 25.0.0 is available even if there have benn some three or four updates.

You shouldn't go back to a release when using beta. 24.7 is still available last I checked, but that does not help with testing.

We just had to go back to 24.7 with the debacle of the loss of the link (command-e) between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop Beta 25.0.0. Now it's working quite well, although I find it still not as fast as before, but good enough to continue using Beta 25.0.0 which is excellent.
At one point one of the updates of Beta 25.0.0 lost the ability to 'Save As' (on an M1 MacBook Pro running MacOS Ventura 13.5 (22G74) with 64 GB RAM) yet this was quickly corrected with the next update release which came out in only a few hours.
For a moment I was scared I would need to go back to 24.7! Thus my question 🙂
