When i go to add a solid color as a layer, I am unable to since the option is not there. Maybe Adobe could add that as an option?

Dear Cory, I too was looking for the 'New Fill Layer' option which does not appear in Photoshop Beta on the Browser. To answer your question about workflow and how we would use the option: After making a selection on a layer, according to the YouTude videos I have been watching (on latest Photoshop versions), when you then load a new Fill Layer, a mask is generated on the new layer with the selection whited out. You can then change the colour of the selection easily. This is not so easy by filling the new layer from the paint bucket as you suggest as the previous selection is not recognised. Best regards. Thank you Cory.  I did not know that. I am a student, and I sometimes use color fill layers in the Photoshop Desktop app.

Hi @Girik Malani, thank you for the feature suggestion.

Curious, could you explain your workflow as how you see this function working? We want to make sure we list your feature request as you intended.

Currently, you can create a new layer and fill that layer with the paint bucket tool with a solid color from the color picker.

Thank you,
