When I try and open any JPG or PSD files in PhotoShop, I just get a big gray area where the actual image should be. I just exported an entire gallery from CameraRaw (with no issues working on the RAW files) and now I can't open the jpegs (or any other jpegs or PSD files) in PhotoShop. The thumbnails appear in the Layers panel, looking just fine but the entire area where the actual image should be is all gray. (All other panels are in tact.) And before anyone asks, it's not my files - it's most definitely the program.
I tried unchecking GPU compositing in the settings as I saw suggested in another post and it does not help.
**UPDATE: I reverted back to the previous version of PhotoShop and everything works fine. I had only used CameraRaw since the update to 25.4.0. While this is a simple solution, it is EXTREMELY frustrating to constantly have these issues. After not being able to do ANY people masking from April-September and then having to use a workaround to do ANY local adjustments for months, can't we just get a program that works?! These are beyond "bugs"**
