P: 24.0.0 crashes whenever 'Decontaminate Colours' is selected in Select and Mask

Community Beginner ,

Hi

Photoshop 24.0.0, macOS 13.0.1. Photoshop closes immediately whenever I try to tick the 'Decontaminate Colours' checkbox after refining with 'Select and Mask'. Does anyone have any idea on fixes?

Thanks

Happening on Intel Macs too... this is so annoying. Photoshop feels like it has devolved.

I'm having the same problem since version 24.0.0 and now in 24.1.0 too. No resolution for this problem since the launch of 2023 version....

Hi, could @matthusmith @Andre Coelho PT @Napologetic  and all affected users go to their Creative Cloud app, click the check for update button, and if available, update Photoshop to 24.1.1, which is supposed to fix this issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html

Please report if the update solves your problem.

thank you, 24.1.1 definitely has fixed the issue as far as i can see.

I used the original file that was experiencing the issue, tried before and after the update to confirm this fix worked.
