Another longstanding one, I think ...
Transporting a mask to another layer is already bugged (confirmed), which I've reported earlier.
Now let's say I want to copy a mask from the bottom layer, not by dragging it, but by Ctrl-clicking it and adding the mask to the target layer from this selection.
When you Ctrl-click the bottom mask (a rectangle that was feathered 200px in Properties panel), and you make a mask with that for the target layer, PS respects the Feathering.
If you record this same thing, the Feathering is *not* respected and results in a sharp rectangle.
This also happens when using Select > Load Selection...
Workaround: Ctrl-click the mask in the Channels palette *will* respect the Feather (or maybe Ctrl+\ if you have that available).
Right-clicking the mask and 'Add Mask to Selection' also seems to record fine and respect Feather setting.
I like/prefer that there is a way to respect the Feather setting (WYSIWYG) by Ctrl-clicking, but not that it doesn't record as such. No biggie, just a little incongruent...
