When I create a droplet in Photoshop 2025, it creates a folder instead of an EXE file. What is the solution?

Hi, it´s still not working on PS 26.2.0.
I get the same error message when i try to save a droplet.

I have 26.11 and I still cannot create a droplet. I get this message: "Could not complete the Create Droplet command because the file was not found." When I go to the Privacy and Security settings, there is no message that would allow me to create the droplet.

Great. It works. Nevertheless, it produces Intel programs. That will work for another two years, and then it won't work again. But maybe something will happen there.

I also installed 26.11 yesterday on one machine. It does work again. Still need to ignore the messages to delete the file first time you run it and then go to security and allow it. Recreated several droplets yesterday and they're working.

Fantastic! That's great to know. We used these a lot! Good to have them working again.

I just installed the latest release version of 26.11 and droplets are once again working. They still sequester themselves and need to be allowed through the security and privacy tab before they can be run but otherwise this appears to be solved running in PS 26.11.0 and Macos 15.6.1.

We’ve addressed this in our latest release, version 26.11. You can check out the full list of new features, bug fixes and improvements here: Whats new in Photoshop 26.11

Please install the latest release (26.11) and let us know how it goes, whether the issue is resolved or still persists.

This has been fixed in the beta version, the next update to the current version should include the fix.

Please fix this problem. You are already light years behind what is happening in other companies that use AI for image creation and management. I have already canceled my Stock subscription; I sincerely wonder if I will one day leave Adobe altogether. And yet, I’ve been working with Photoshop since 1992...
