Community Beginner ,

Não foi possível completar o comando Dissolver devido a um erro de disco. Essa é a mensagem que aparece quando tento usar o filtro Dissolver em qualquer foto depois da atualização 23.3

Quando voltei para a versão anterior funcinou perfeitamente.

You only have VRAM: 1,073 MB

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html

Photoshop requires 1.5GB to operate.

Try holding down the Opt key when selecting Filter > Liquify...

For anyone stuck in this in 2022. Try changing your disk cache drive. Or purging the cache folder entirely.

Frustrating! Having suffered a V.24 Liquify error on on PC I switched to a backup machine. This is backup is failing too, only differently.

From Bridge, right click to Open in Camera Raw, I get "Graphics processor has encountered an unrecoverable error" pop-up - see pop-up. (Opening in V23 works fine). The GPU has been disabled.

ACR opens but not properly. It opens as if I'd directly opened a .dng from Bridge by double clicking on a thumbnail ie it first opens PS, and not just opening ACR without first opening PS as it should.

So I'm stuck not being to Liquify on my workstation and now this error. As I say very irritating.

Running on Windows 10.

Hi

What exact GPU do you have in your system, are your GPU drivers up to date

Hi Ged,

Upto date according to Widows update. It's only my backup machine so nothing fancy, NVIDIA GeForce 940M. It all works fine on previous V23. Fortunately I didn't uninstall that version, unlike I did on my workstation (with the Liquify issue).

Don't suppose you know how to re-install my previous V.23 version so I can get working on my main machine and wait till the V 24 issues have been sorted. I'm happy to stay on V 23 on both my machines.

Thank you for helping.

@BarryEdge you can install a previous version from the CC app, you can have 2 versions installed at the same time

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html

Don't go by Windows to verify if your GPU driver is up to date, always go to the manufacturers website

https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx

There's one option you can try in Photoshop version 24.0, try enabling this option and restarting Photoshop

Olá
Tenho o Adobe Photoshop 24.0.0 e o recurso dissolver não funciona. Tenho o Windows 10 Enterprise.
O que devo fazer para que o mesmo funcione? Obrigado

Thanks Ged.

I've had managed to work out how to install the older version on my workstation and I installed the latest driver from NVIDIA. Thank you.

I have also found the "Older GPU" version in V 24 preferences. Thanks for that too.

However, on the Liquify error "Could not complete the Liquify command because of a disk error", I'm now in a mess because the V 23 version doesn't now work - it gives the same disk error as V 24. It was working fine yesterday on V 23 with the older graphic card driver. This is painful as I need Liquifer to complete a portrait touchup commission.

I'm running out of ideas. I'll start a new post for the Liquify issue as this is my critical problem - unless you have other ideas.

Thanks for helping.

Disk error for Liquify should not be an issue. Adobe need to fix or else get rid of Liquify!

@nammy50 are you having issues with Liquify or just commenting?

Disk error. If Liquify needs so much space that it cannot perform, then why include it? I pay a monthly fee for a filter that does not work.

Your logic doesnt make sense - your computer is lacking in resources to use a feature so exclude it for everyone?

Does your machine meet minimum requirements?

Go to Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details here.

@nammy50 how much RAM is there on your GPU?

You can launch Liquify in CPU mode by holding the ALT key before selecting it in the filter menu..

You need to buy a newer computer. We are all in the same boat there. Liquify works for me, I pay a monthly fee to have access to it.

Properby your craphics adapter is no longer supported (didn't search for it anyway).

Just press and hold the "Alt" key while selecting the liquify filter.
