Não foi possível completar o comando Dissolver devido a um erro de disco. Essa é a mensagem que aparece quando tento usar o filtro Dissolver em qualquer foto depois da atualização 23.3

Quando voltei para a versão anterior funcinou perfeitamente.

You only have VRAM: 1,073 MB

Photoshop requires 1.5GB to operate.

Try holding down the Opt key when selecting Filter > Liquify...

Hi Community,

since upgrading to PS 23 the liquify filter returns a disc error. Downgrading to PS 22 solves the problem but is no solution on long term.

Graphics driver is up to date.

What else?

Ciao

Please try the following:

Go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

Hello, I am testing the version of PS 2022 v23.3 and the updates are good, but it gives me the error "could not complete the liquify command because of a disk error" in the Liquify tool. In version v23.2 it worked perfectly, my laptop is a bit old but they did work.

Will someone have any solution?

The integrated card of my laptop is an old Intel graphics 4000.

Thank you ❤

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Hola,

Gracias

Hello!

Using Photoshop 23.3.1  (on a Windows 11 machine) I alway get an "volume error" starting the liquify tool shown in the attachment. Though some time ago this tool did work. And yes, the hard disk has plenty of free space as the cloud drive, too.

I searched for this issue but didn't found a solution - maybe I used the wrong keywords.

Can anyone show me a solution?

Thanks in advance.

Roland

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’ll need a little more information so that I can help you with this issue.

Could you please share the system info of Photoshop from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document and share with us? Does the error show up with a specific document, or does the error shows up regardless of the document?

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Go to the location of the preference folder mentioned below and rename it to backup it.

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

  • macOS: Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
  • Rename the Adobe Photoshop folder by adding a .old at the end. (Adobe Photoshop 2022 > Rename > Adobe Photoshop 2022. old)

These changes will give a fresh start to Photoshop as a fresh install.

Let us know if it works.

Thanks!

Sameer K

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

If this doesn't help, please disable the GPU completely.

Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Use Graphics Processor. Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?
