P: Fit on Screen Not working in 23.3.0

After updating yesterday to the latest version of Photoshop (23.3.0), the Fit on Screen menu item and associated Command-0 shortcut no longer enlarge an image,  If the Zoom tool is active, pressing the Fit Screen button still works.  I am on an M1 Mac, OS 12.3.1.

It did NOT fix it for me either.

It fixed two issues: 'white' layers, and freezing of Photoshop, but yeah - we want more fixes 😄

Today's photoshop update 23.3.1 did not solve the issue for me.

Recently updated PhotoshopCC 2022 on my imac. The keyboard shortcut 'Command 0' used to resize image to fill screen. Now in full screen mode it still does, but in standard mode when the image is smaller than the screen it does not increase in size. When the image is over screen size the command still works to bring it down and fill the screen.

Ant ideas?

It is side effect of this bug (also in Windows), image touching the Options bar, that didn't happen previously.

Don't lock duplicates. Move them to Holding Rooms.

Thank you for reporting this issue.  Engineering is investigating.

I have the same problem with version 23.3.0 running on Windows 11.  I thought resetting preference might help but it didn't.

It used to be that Ctrl+0 would fit the image to screen without having to activate the Zoom tool. Not anymore since the last update (v.23.3).

Is there something in Preferences that I am missing?

Thank you in advance.

Maybe the bug comes because of this fix: "Fit on Screen" (Cmd+0) works strange when using arranged windows"

I hope Adobe will address this in the next version. I use cmd+0 a lot.

Another issue I experienced is that there is no "frame" in the other screen modes like in maximized screen. After using "fit on screen" the image now touches the options bar and the edge of the screen. I wonder if you have the same problem?

Same problem here. PS 23.3.0 on MacBook Pro M1 Max 16" system, macOS 12.3.1.

Command + 0 "Fit on Screen" keyboard shortcut no longer works, nor does the Fit on Screen menu command under the View menu when in the Standard screen view ie. "Floating Palette" mode.

The only way I've gotten "Fit on Screen" to work in this view is to enlarge the image beyond the screen size ("command +" a few times) then the Fit on Screen will reduce the image to actually fit on the screen.

When in Full Screen mode, the Fit on Screen keyboard and menu commands seem to work.

I believe I just started seeing this after the upgrade to PS 23.3.0, so I'm guessing it was a bug introduced in that update. Hopefully a fix comes soon.
