After updating yesterday to the latest version of Photoshop (23.3.0), the Fit on Screen menu item and associated Command-0 shortcut no longer enlarge an image,  If the Zoom tool is active, pressing the Fit Screen button still works.  I am on an M1 Mac, OS 12.3.1.

I'm using Windows 11 pro and the latest version of Ps (v23.3.2). I thought it was working but now I'm not sure. In Ctrl-0, the screen always showed a little space between the canvas and the edge of the container it is in, didn't it? Maybe there are saboteurs in Adobe? LOL Anybody else checked recently? Am I out to lunch?

Yes. 23.3.2 is the version installed. That is why it is so puzzling.

Are you using the latest version of Ps? The latest version is 23.3.2. I think most people who had that problem would agree that the bug was fixed in the latest version. It works fine on mine now!

This time I used Revo Uninstaller to remove all traces of Photoshop rightb down to registery level. I checked and made sure there was nothing Adobe left. I then restarted and did a new install. As soon as I set up my new preferences, the exact same problem happened - a 2" gap at the bottom when I did fit to screen. Something on the computer/screen is not allowing it to recognise the entire screen. It looks like am stuck with it as there seems to be nothing else I can do.

Seems to me you have the wrong version of Ps. Try upgrading to 23.3.2

This baby is called "Surf's up!" and takes your crazy out of place canvas
and slots into place with Ctrl-0, just like before.

Art is waiting!

Before / After you use CCC remove your preferences manually:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022

Further to my problem. I installed Photoshop on another PC and fit to screen works without a problem, so it seems to be a problem with that particular machine. Any other suugestions then of how to fix it.

I did the adobe cleaner and reinstalled Creative Cluod and Photoshop. When Photoshop opened it still had the same preferences which I though adobe cleaner would delete. It did the same thinf with fir to screen, leaving a 2" gap at the bottom of the window. I have no idea what to do toy get it to work. Any further ideas?
