P: HEIC Depth map not available in photoshop for windows

I open HEIC file from iPhone 13 Pro, the image was taken in portrait mode. Photoshop v23.2.2 under Windows 10 does NOT display the depth map that is embedded in the file under channels. This apparently works in Photoshop on macos. the file I am using is OK because I can access the depth map under 'masking' in Lightroom using the same file.

Can anyone help with this issue?

(I can recover the depth map using 3rd party software)

Another issue, but related, I cannot open the HEIC file from Bridge into camera raw as the option for HEIC does not appear under Camera Raw file handling settings.

The Camera Raw plugin on Windows doesn't currently support the HEIC format. Can you start a new thread calling out the need for Win support here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw/ct-p/ct-camera-raw?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all&lang=all&tabid=ideas

Where are your HEIC files coming from? Apple device or another camera manufacturer?

You didn't address the second point about Camera Raw and HEIC files - I have the same issue. Works fine with the Mac version.

Depth maps aren't currently supported on Windows. I've raised your request with the team. Thanks.
