P: June Photoshop on iPad v6.3 crashes at launch after update

Hi, i have the exact same problem, just wondering if you got around  to find a fix

Photoshop v6.3.1 is now available on the Appstore addressing the top crashes reported here. (Open the Photoshop app page to force the update to appear)

 

We'd like to know how it goes! Please update and let us know.

A few days ago, I tried to open Photoshop on my iPad, and it showed the loading screen, then crashed, and it's been doing that the past few days. Then I went on the App Store, and saw that version 6.3 had come out the same day that this problem started. 
It's basically just crashing on opening since the new update. 
I don't know why it's having this problem, I've tried restarting the iPad, deleting and reinstalling the app, but it's still not working.

My iPadOS version is 17.7.8. 

This loading screen appears, like usual, but then it crashes.

Due giorni fa la app di photoshop a smesso di funzionare dovendomi spostare spesso io lo uso solo su ipad.

Ho fatto tutti i passaggi suggeriti dal team di esperti ma non ho

risolto. Sono preoccupato perche' sono fermo con i miei lavori ,

Speriamo si risolva.

Da due giorni non funziona app photoshop per ipad.

Ho provato di tutto tramite i tecnici di Adobe ma nulla di fatto.

On my iPad, with an iOS of 17.7.8, photoshop opens for a second then closes itself immediately. I have tried restarting the app, reinstalling the app, checking for updates, checking app storage, hard restarting the iPad, resetting iPad settings, etc. the account works on a different iPad so I’m fairly sure it’s not my account that’s the problem. So I need help fixing it

Until today (28th of June 2024) my iPad 7 running on OS 18.5 has ran Photoshop totally fine with minimal crashes and bugs. However today it is not working at all and will not open. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled, restarted the iPad, hard reset the iPad, factory reset it. Signed in and out of creative cloud but nothing has fixed this issue. Creative Cloud and Express work fine but this issue persists. I need Photoshop for work.

I am glad it isn't just me because that means it could be a glitch that can be fixed! Although I am wondering if it is the heat as it's pretty hot where I am right now?

I just found another thread with many others having the same issue (see link below). Seems like a bug that started with the latest update. I wonder if there's a way to revert to the older version for now...

I'm having the same problem. After reporting it to Adobe two days ago. I was supposed to have a telephone call with someone in customer support this morning at 8:30 but no one called. I contacted Adobe and was told there's some unknown issue now with making those calls. that's bizarre. I've had Adobe Photoshop since version 3.1 when it came on a hard disk and I've been using it since and never have I had this problem. Never never once have I not been able to get in to my Photoshop program what has happened to Adobe customer support why isn't this being fixed? We all know that it is basically a flip of a switch on their end. I'm paying over $60 a month for the privilege of using this software and now for 3 days I'm getting nothing and my work is going to be late. Who's going to pay for that? I want a fix!

I've been experiencing the same thing for three days now I was supposed to get a call after opening a ticket with Adobe this morning, but they didn't call. I went  to the chat box again and spoke with yet another representative and got a little more assertive and said I wanted to speak to somebody immediately and I wanted to call someone did call. I answered the phone I said hello hello hello and HELLOOOO, no one ever answered, and then ultimately they disconnected back on chat. I filled in the person I was speaking with about that incident got usual and customary so sorry etc. response and still nothing. I have paid for, and used Photoshop since version 3.1 over20 odd years ago. Never in my history of using Photoshop or any of the Adobe products that I've used have I ever had an incident where I could not get onto the program additionally, never have. I had such lack of customer service or response for customer support. I don't know what's happening over at Adobe, but they are rapidly declining and I'm so disappointed and frustrated.

I have an old Ipad running IOS 16.7.11 and the Photoshop app running fine there. On IOS 18 on my newer ipad, Photoshop no longer works.
