P: Pencil crosshair off center

Hello, while working with Ph 21.0.0 the crosshair of the pencil tool moved off center for some reason, the issue is most noticeable when the radius is 2px. I've found other posts on the forum that talk about this issue but none here and none with a clear answer... i hope someone can help me.

I believe this has been an issue since photoshop 6 when the crosshair in the pencil tool brushes first appeared.


Photoshop 6.0.1 running on a 2001 Apple Power Mac G4 Quicksilver with Mac OS 9.2.2
