P: Photoshop 26.11 freeze at launch on Reading Brushes & Building Color Conversion Tables

I think it's pretty clear Adobe pushed out yet another update without testing it thoroughly. I'd put money on this being a memory leak on startup with people who have lots of brushes and advanced GPUs. 
Going through a series of holding Shift/open, Shift/alt/Ctrl/Open will get working for me

It won't open after the startup screen.

I've reinstalled, updated drivers, updated Windows, and restarted the PC, but nothing works.

The 26.11 update DOES  NOT fix the problem. I'm  still hanging on startup. Have to force shutdown and restart several times to get PS to open.

For the past few weeks, when I run Photoshop 26.11, it crash when "Creating conversion tables" appears. This forces me to restart the software until it stops crashing.

I have the latest version of Photoshop, what can I do?

On my side, on a fresh new PC / Install from 3 weeks ago, I've got an initial 26.11 version with this bug

Last week I've got a new small Update (directly from CC interface, nothing manual), still displayed as 26.11.0 in Photoshop About, but it direclty solved my issue

Everyone, 26.11 is the version exhibiting the issue. You can revert to 26.10 to get rid of it for now. Adobe said in this thread that the issue should be fixed in a future update (26.12 maybe?).

On my side, last week Update (26.11) solved the problem, GPU Compositing back ON and no more issue on startup

Problem still persists in PS 26.11.

Mine freezes at "Building Color Tables".
Disabling "GPU Compositing" is still the only workaround.

**EDIT**
I just uninstalled PS 26.11, deleted the 'Adobe Photoshop 2025' folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025).
Reinstalled PS26.11, and it worked no issue for about 3 launches.

Its now getting stuck at "Starting Up Plugins. . . SP Subtance Suite"

Ok, its getting inconsistent.
1. Disabled "GPU Compositing", normal launches.
2. Enable "GPU Compositing" after step one, and I get two successful launches and then it hangs on the third launch "Starting Up Plugins. . . SP Subtance Suite"
3. Hold Shift, Disable "GPU Compositing" and we are back to normal launches.

I've used Photoshop for about 26years and the last 5 years have been the worst.
