P: Photoshop 26.2 adjustment layers grayed out on cmyk file.

As subject states there are several adjustment layers that no longer work on 26.2 and beta. 

Made a new file - CMYK 8bit filled a layer with color, attempted to apply adjustment layer and it is greyed out. Curves, hue saturation and maybe more. 

I went back to 25.12 and it works as it should with no issues.

In 26.2 the option to select an Exposure adjustment layer has been greyed out. Surely this is a bug? I'm able to duplicate existing Exposure layers but not create new ones. 

Working in RGB/32bit mode on Windows 10.

This was an issue from the icon at the bottom of the layers panel.

The same adjustments can be accessed from the adjustments panel and the image adjustments menu.

With the new update on the layers pallette the curves adjustment layer is greyed out. ....unavailable.

You have to use the  menu adjustment layer to use it.

...annoying if you do color correction for a living.

well, today's update did repair bug... unfortunately it is fixed only partially...

some adjustments layers are still not available with Palette menu, but only in main menu (for example Exposure or Posterize in BW mode)

This is weird. This is the second time in a short time that an update comes up with the same version number already installed. I already had 26.2, and got an update to 26.2. It finished in about 4 seconds, so clearly didn't do anything.

Anyway, nothing has changed and the bug is still there.

The point is that all the adjustment layers do work, just not from the Layers panel.

You have to access them from the Adjustments panel, where all the adjustments still work. Or from the Layer menu: Layer > New > New Adjustment Layer. All the adjustments work here.

Yes, we all agree it's a bug that should be fixed, but you can still use these adjustment layers.

Note that some adjustments are not available in certain image modes. This is normal and unrelated to the bug.

Today I wanted to apply the gradation curves to a layer. But I can no longer select it in the menu. The font is gray. This is in CMYK mode. If you switch to RGB then the function can be selected again. But it's pointless because the CMYK color values ​​are shifted. i know they all work, but from different menus and that has big impact on workflow i'm used to...

and it is not first time that adobe breaks basic features...

especialy this bug is such that they could see while testing, so how they could release it?... or do they make us testers and making us paying for that?

i still wonder what's wrong with adobe last years

They have acknowledged it, they will fix it. Bugs happen in all complex software. It's not humanly possible to avoid completely.

Known and acknowledged bug, will be fixed. Lots of threads about this.

In the meantime, all adjustment layers still work from either the Adjustments panel, or the menu Layer > New Adjustment Layer.

, the curves tool in cmyk format is not active in layers. I can only access layer/new adjustment layer/curves. Can you help me with this issue?

I have the same issue. Have used exposure layers with 32 bit images for years, and all of a sudden it's greyed out.

Photoshop has unfortunately become a buggy mess the past years.
