P: Photoshop creates a gude log while working with files

Beim Arbeiten mit der aktuellen Photoshop-Version hängt sich Photoshop nach kürzester Zeit auf, d.h. die Bedienoberfläche und Menüs verschwinden und ein speichern ist nicht möglich. Folgende Fehlermeldung schreibt er in die log-Datei (gude-2022-04-14.log):

 

[WARN] WGudeRequest::applyAutoDetectProxyAutoConfigSettings Failed to autodetect proxy settings. WinHTTP Unable To Download Script. last error code = 12167

 

Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem und kann mir helfen? Vielen Dank.

I've noticed that my images keep disappearing out of their folders, and one I worked on last evening for about three hours is gone! I had a folder with thousands of brushes and textures, etc., broken down into about 80 categories, AND EVERY FOLDER IS NOW EMPTY. 
And now I opened Photoshop and clicked on “Open Most Recent” and except for 1 file, THE LIST OF PREVIOUS PHOTOS I WORKED ON is also gone!  I can’t even think straight I’m so upset about all this!!!!!  This started with the GUDE issue.  I have since uploaded the latest update for Photoshop.  Thank you!  Diane

Please help.  I don't know what Gude files is or where it came from.  Some instructions I've read on the internet as to where uncheck something do not apply to the most-recent version of Photoshop.  How do I stop these Gude files from showing up?  I don't even know what they are!  Thank you!!! Diane G.

@scubaraven are you still seeing the issue? Have you updated to 24.2?  If you are, please let us know and share your sysinfo.

 

Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Why am I not surprised an Adobe Employee reports this problem as fixed? STILL HAPPENING.

Thank you. I have PS 24.2 now, (Queensland, Australia) and the gude log file bug is resolved for me.
