I had been using Preserve Details 2.0 with success for a number of years until the last few Photoshop updates. Under Photoshop/Settings/Technology Previews, Enable Preserve Details 2.0 Upscale is turned on with a check mark. In the menu Image/Image Size, with Resample checked on, Preserve Details 2.0 is available, but does not interpolate a file up (enlarge) as it should, but looks like Bicubic. This happens with all 8 bit RGB or CMYK files. Has this tool been recalled? I’m currently using a Mac Studio 2022 on Ventura 13.4.1, and using Photoshop 24.6.0. But Preserve Details 2.0 also stopped working on older Monterey OS iMacs (64 Gb Ram, 2019) 27" 4.2 i7 Quad-core. It has stopped working on all similar computers in our office studio.
