P: Photoshop Web white screen with grayed-out buttons across multiple devices

Community Beginner ,
Apr 29, 2025 Apr 29, 2025

I'm experiencing an issue with Photoshop web version. When I opening the Photoshop web version, the interface shows only a white screen with all buttons grayed out and unclickable. Problem persists across different monitors and even when switching to another PC. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you for any info.

The team has implemented the required fixes, and Photoshop Web should function as expected. If the issue exists, let us know, and we'll continue to investigate.

Thanks for sharing the details & URLs.

When using photoshop web version it will not load, even though I was just using it 30 minutes ago and it was working just fine.

Hi @brooker6878089! Welcome to the community!

Could you share more details about the issue you're experiencing? Which browser are you using? It would be great if you could test using other browsers to see if the behavior is the same. Also, please double-check that your browser is up to date and that your internet connection is stable.

Thank you so much!

Alek

If I clear the history, it will allow me to open 1 file, but if I try to open anything else it does the same thing. But yet again I can clear the history and open 1 file again

@Sameer K

I am using the latest version of Chrome. Up until April 28, I was able to access the web version of Photoshop and edit images without any issues.

Hey @brooker6878089

Could you please double-check that your computers meet the technical requirements? Also, keep in mind that browsing in incognito or private mode, or having storage quotas set by your enterprise administrator, might prevent Photoshop on the web from accessing hard disk space.

Thanks a lot!

Alek

It does! I was working on it one minute and just a couple minutes later it stopped. I have seen several other post the last 2 days with the same issues. Could this be a website issue?

Hi @brooker6878089, @tt_4607, and @Noir_ccooE !

I've gathered all the threads I could find about this issue into a single thread so we can keep track of it better. I made the Photoshop Web team aware of the problem, but we haven't been able to reproduce it yet. If you haven't already, please try clearing your cache and browsing history, updating, and restarting your browsers.

If the issue persists, could you share the following details with us so we can investigate further?

* What's the model and operating system of your affected computers?
* Which browser and version are you using?
* Were you actively working on a file when the screen went blank, or was it on an inactive tab that became blank when you returned to it?

Thank you all for your patience while we look into this!

Alek

@Aleke

All the computers I have that can't access the Photoshop web version are desktops, running operating systems including Windows 11 version 23H2 and Windows 10 version 20H2.

When I clicked the red-boxed area in the interface shown in the first image below to upload the image file for editing, the webpage redirected to the gray screen shown in the second image below and remained stuck there without loading anything.5900220F-7977-4a5f-BFCA-D7C62B51DF73.png
