Community Beginner ,

Hola! tengo el mismo problema, borrando las carpetas FontFeatureCache y  CT Font Cache el problema parece solucionarse. Pero una vez que se vuelve a abrir el problema regresa. Alguien ha podido solucionarlo definitivamente?

Have you tried the solution suggested in this post?
https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/photoshop-tool-icons-are-missing/idc-p/14079878#M112305

I’ve been struggling with the same issue for a few months. Even after resetting the Preferences folder, the problem kept coming back after a restart.
However, since resetting the PluginsStorage folder, the bug hasn’t reappeared for the past three days.
I hope this helps someone else dealing with the same issue!

Sorry to hear that it is back @Walms95 would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of what is back, the original error, something new or different?  Again, it would be very helpful to the team to be able to see a video of your workflow and when the eror shows, how it shows, etc. This is a hard issue to determine what might be happeing and we need all the info we can get to help.

Thank you for your patience.

Great to hear that you are back and runing again. The issue with our program to pull down sysinfo is under review to see why this happens sometimes, but nothing that you need to do.

Thank you,

H there,

Thanks for reaching out. Which version of Photoshop and macOS are you using? When do you get this error message? Do you have any particular workflow? Have you tried re-installing the application?

Let's try these two steps:

Make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:
Restore your preferences using this manual method:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

You can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back if that doesn't solve it.

The second thing to try is: Try creating a new Admin user account and run Photoshop from the new user account to see if the problem goes away: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/basic-troubleshooting.html#permissions

Let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Ranjisha

Delete all Photoshop font cache files

The Photoshop font cache contains the enumerated list of fonts and font features installed to the system that Photoshop can use. Deleting this font cache file will allow Photoshop to create a new one.

WINDOWS

  • Exit Photoshop and the Creative Cloud desktop app

  • Navigate to \Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop <version>
  • Delete the CT Font Cache  and FontFeatureCache folder and empty the Recycle Bin

Hi Marcus,

So yesterday I just opened Photoshop and the same happened to me. I'm in a bit of a panic as I'm unable to continue my work. I have already uninstalled & reinstalled but the same happened.

So this just worked for me..... its a combination of the above :

First I did this :

  • Exit Photoshop and the Creative Cloud desktop app

  • Navigate to \Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop <version>
  • Delete the CT Font Cache  and FontFeatureCache folder

Then I also did this :

Restore your preferences using this manual method:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Then empty the Recycle Bin.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. We understand your workflow is interrupted.

Which version of Photoshop and Windows are you using? It would be great if you could tell us what steps you have performed so we do not repeat them.

Goto Type Menu > Font Preview >, set to "None," and relaunch Photoshop. Does that help?

Please try these steps:

  • Exit Photoshop and the Creative Cloud desktop app

  • Navigate to \Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop <version>
  • Delete the CT Font Cache  and FontFeatureCache folder and empty the Recycle Bin

Let us know if that helps.

Best,

Ranjisha
