Top menu not working after opening camera raw filter from Photoshop, making an edit and going back to Photoshop.

Steps to reproduce
Open an image in Photoshop, make edits as usual

Select Filter > Camera Raw Filter

Make an edit, like adding a Vignette
Click OK to go back to image
Click on any item in the top menu - nothing is clickable

Must force quit application and reopen for menu items to be clickable again

I just updated to the new 26.0 version, and this is still an issue for me.  Once again, I reverted back to version 25.11 and everything is working fine.

I have not seen non-functional buttons or menus under Sequoia, either 15.0.or 15.0.1, on either Intel or M1 Macs. Just as a data point.

I had no issue with Mac OS 15.0.

But after upgrading to Mac OS 15.0.1, I experienced the menu buttons not working.

Full preferences reset did not work, but uninstalling Photoshop (with preferences deletion) and reinstalling did the trick.

Thanks!

@Tatiana5E88 - did you just update to the new MacOS Sequoia? If so, and you are using the newest version of Photoshop, version 25.12 it did it to me and a few others in this thread.  We had to go back to version 25.11 of Photoshop for it to not lock up on us. No word from Adobe or @mystic_soldier7700 about a fix for it. There is a link I posted in this thread for the steps to install a previous version.

@Patty248993045taj That’s awfully frustrating for you. I'm really sorry the thorough reset process didn't work for you, I realise it takes time to do - it's always worth a shot as it has helped many users, with all sorts of issues, but I realise that’s no solace for you.

I hope @Sameer K can help you, he's an Adobe guy so has access to resources we don't.

I'm sorry I couldn't help
