I can imagine how inconvenient this must be for you. Let's explore some options to resolve the issue.
Do you get this screen at the launch of Photoshop? Which version of the application have you installed? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?
Please try re-installing the application and let us know if it helps!
So, I have tried uninstalling also removing my plug-ins and settings and I still have this screen open upon every start of photoshop. I have tried clicking on "Dont show again" with the option of maybe later...Upgrade now and clicking on the red close window button, there is no change. Pop up every start of the application.
The above pop-up window will NOT go away even after clicking the "Don't show again" checkbox. It appears EVERY TIME PHOTOSHOP IS LAUNCHED. This needs to STOP.
I am also having this issue, and it is super frustrating. Doesn't matter if I use the Beta or the regular version of Photoshop, I get this same nagging window every single time it is opened. The "Don't show again" box does nothing, so why is it there? And why are we getting this endless nag anyhow when we are paying customers?
It wasn't just you. I had the same issue and it frankly really annoyed me. I have all my comms preferences set to no contact and Adobe pull this stunt. 3 hours I spent with support yesterday with no resolution to the issue - monumental waste of time on my part and for adobe staff. Now resolved though after updating PS and a reboot,
As of today, this notification started appearing every time Photoshop is launched. I have a licensed program, paid for a year in advance. How can I get rid of this window? Checking the "Don't show again" box doesn't help.
@Kevin Stohlmeyer I didn't have a first and last name on my profile at all. I added them consisting of western characters, but nothing changed. The ad window still appears.
Updated to the latest version of Photoshop yesterday. The advertising window disappeared. Today I go to Photoshop, it appeared again and so on every time I start the program. Adobe, what is wrong with you? Even on pirate versions of this was not such a thing, and here I bought a license and suffer from this f**ing ads! Why do you do this to your customers????
I know Adobe is famous for robbing creatives blind and demanding every last cent out of us every chance they get, but this is getting out hand...
Ever since installing Photoshop 25.4, EVERY TIME I run it now, it shows a nearly full-screen message IMPLORING me to upgrade to a full Creative Cloud plan for almost $79 CAD/month!
Adobe, let me be CRYSTAL clear here... I am subscribed to EXACTLY the plan I want and am willing to pay for, the Photography (20GB) plan, AND DO NOT WANT OR NEED THE OTHER PLANS!!!
You include a check box that states "Don't show again", well guess what? I CAN'T MAKE IT STOP!!!
You can call Adobe support at (800) 833-6687. They will have you do the following:
Uninstall and reinstall Photoshop: using Creative C Lud Application.
If that does not work they will have you
Reset Preferences: This is a drastic step because you need to make copies of:
All your custom settings under Edit/Preferences
Your Actions
Your Presets
Some other things as well
Be careful if they have you do step #2 to make sure they are thorough and that they are able to restore the program to operate the way it was before your call: except for the add!
Happy to inform this is still happening. Don't show again button is there to annoy people into cancelling their subscriptions, which I'm at the edge of.
