I have started getting a persistent popup on starting Photoshop 26. It's an ad to "Expand your toolkit," and I click the "do not show again" box, but it still comes back. Solutions?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

This experience is now corrected, and it should not appear if you've selected 'Do not show again'.

Thanks!

In the last several Creative cloud apps Adobe seems keen on badgering us with their new features and products.

News Flash! we already bought the product, stop trying to sell us.

All the pop-up are just a time-sucking annoyance. MAybe the software and marketing people at Adobe have lots of timme to kill, but those of us  paying for the product just want to use it to get our work done. There needs to be a prefference setting in every CC application to turn-off current and future feature and marketing pop-ups and introductions.

Everytime I open Photoshop I get an annoying pop-up " expand your tookit with creative cloud ALL apps"

I've checked the box to not show for thirty days and I close the app and it pops up! I've uninstalled all of my apps. But Creative Cloud app is not listed in the apps section of my MacM2 running 18.2

Chat support suggested unchecking all boxes under preferences/notifications under my CC account. This did nothing. Yet a day later I get the "your case has been closed" and asked for a survey. How about a followup email asking if the issue has been resolved? So before I waste my time again w/ tech support I'm hoping another user has experienced the same issuse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And seriously.... I can't even post this question w/o Adobe forcing me to pick a topic and the topics listed have nothing to do with my issue.... from bad to worse this day is

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

then make sure your notification preferences are what you want and tick that non-notification for 30 days box, if it reappears.

i'm not sure it's worth more of your time, but if it is:

repair per https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html

if that fails and you have windows, open your control panel > add/remove programs > cc desktop app > repair

if that fails, uninstall using the correct uninstaller from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes... and then reinstall using*

if that fails, do a clean cc install carefully following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

check for, and if available, update your os

if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials>

if that fails, you probably have a corrupt user account. google your os and how to create a new one.

I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Services to the primary thread in the Photoshop forum. This issue was marked resolved by Adobe staff:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-ps-26-0-expand-your-toolkit-with-creative-...

If it is still an issue for you, please give us your exact version of Photoshop.

As to the topics, the ones in Creative Cloud Services are different from the ones in the Photoshop forum.

This is really annoying now, it pops up for me at random even when Photoshop is open, pity that Adobe keeps forcing these adverts onto us even when we're already paying for one of their plans. Current version of photoshop i'm using is 26.1.0 on a mac.
