P: "Edit-in" in Lightroom Classic broken after Photoshop 25.0 update

When I select "open as layers in PS" from LR this used to work until recently. Now all that happens is the PS app opens to the home page but no images are ever uploaded at all. I have restarted my computer, shut down LR and PS, and tried again, and still nothing. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

@MPDAEF its because the beta is technically the "latest" update.

Of course.  But then it's necessary to give the beta a different name so they can be distinguished from each other in LR and in the computer's system--or anywhere at all.

Hi,

I am on Mac OS and have the latest update to Photoshop 2024 with the new Generative AI tools. 

I'm trying to Edit in Photoshop from Lightroom Classic, and apart from being able to open Photoshop, right click, Edit in Photoshop 2024, is not working at all.

I have checked my preferences in Lightroom and Photoshop 2024 is selected.

I am with the same problem.

Photoshop 2024 does start - but does not show the (RAW) Photo.

My workaround: edit with Luninar -> abbord.

This creates a TIFF file. And a TIFF file can be edited in PS2024.

I have the same problem - I updated to PS2024 last week and now Lightroom doesn't even show Photoshop in the Preferences section as an "edit in" option.  It makes no difference whether Photoshopn 2024 is open or not.  Very frustrating indeed!

I had this same issue after uninstalling the beta version. Tried deleting and resintalling lightroom didnt work, eventually i did a full reset of my macbook because it was full of clutter anyway and all is working perfectly.
