LRC is not sending files over to external editors like PS, Luminar Neo, or Topaz.  It opens the other program but never sends a file to it.  Running Win 11, 64-bit.  I have installed and reinstalled as well as rebooted and nothing fixes it.

Hello, I just installed Photoshop 26.5. After this installation, LR would not transfer raw files to Photoshop for editing. I rolled back to my last version of Photoshop 2025 26.41 and now the LR transfer to Photoshop works again.I turned Adobe Auto Update off until this is resolved.

What a mess.  I can't open a photo from LR into PS and if it somtimes opens, I can't save it.     I also don't get a choice whether I can open in PS Beta or regular PS.   I also can't import from my own HD into LR.  It says no photos in the directory but I know there are photos there.  it's all a mess.

I'm running Sequoia 15.3.2 on Mac.

I need help...In the past ~few weeks, I can no longer right click and select from a few "edit in" options like "edit in photoshop"...all the options are greyed out.  What's strange is all the images I'm trying to edit are local and images I could edit-in before no longer allow me to.  I am logged in to CC and all apps are up to date...Nothing has changed in my behavior or how I import images and I haven't moved my catalog.  So, I'm stumped as to why all the sudden, these options are all the sudden not working.

I did browse a few similar topics in Google, but, those threads were several years old and I didn't see any resolution steps.

Oh, and yes, I've restarted my PC.

Any recommendations out there?  Hoping I get some guidance beyond "try reinstalling everything".

Jeff

Some clues in this help page- EDIT IN Photoshop command missing

Photos 'missing'  commonly cause this problem. Check for these.

Some using a Beta version of Photoshop also strike this problem.

And yes, re-installing 1) Photoshop v26.5,  then 2) Lightroom-Classic (in that order!!) may be helpful.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Photos aren't missing as I mentioned...its happening to every photo which none of my photos have moved off my local drive...period.  I'm not using a beta version of PS, and PS isn't the only option greyed out, its all options.  This isn't a photoshop problem.

If then the only option is to uninstall and reinstall SW, this is a ridiculous option.  I fear my catalog or something else will be lost when doing this.  Gotta be a better explanation.

I am unable to "Edit in photoshop" from LR on my computer with Windows on ARM.

When try it Photoshop starts and takes over the screen but nothing more happens in Photoshop.
In Lightroom a dialog pops up after a couple of minutes and tells me that i could not open the image in Photoshop.

Since last week Ps won't open the picture. Screen stays black...
I went on vacation to Taiwan and live in Belgium could this have anything to do with that?

I have no clue.

Info online doesn't help either...

Updating didn't help either.

I have installed latest version of Lightroom and Photoshop on my Mac. When I try to import (for additional editing) a file from LR to PS, PS program starts but the file does not appear at all. The only possibility to send the file to PS is if I select the option "open the file as smart object in PS" but in this case once I make my editing, when trying to save the file (and "send it back to LR) I receive an error message. The file is not saved.. This was perfectly working until a few weeks ago (probably until last PS upgrade). I would appreciate a lot if someone can provide me any feedback on how to solve this issue. Thanks a lot in advance
