remove tool not working well in photoshop 26.0.0 when i try to remove a specific area in a images it takes too long to process and create a whole area around the images with some clumsy textures anyone can help ? i am using windows 11

Same here. Super annoying. I recognized that it mainly happens when smart objects involved. When I reduce the picture, it's working normal. 

 Im sitting on a Mac.

Hi, Same here except i also get a message saying not enough memory when i have 64 gigs and 12 GB ram- posted also today

The directions from jub_6764 were wrong. Right-click the tool in the options bar (not the Toolbar) and choose Reset Tool.
