ACR opens in Beta and Actions are missing
I use a PC (windows), and edit my images as RAW files until I save them as jpeg
I updated the lastest PS, and now I have multiple issues:
1. When I edit I pre-edit in Bridge/ACR and then open into PS. Now, ACR opens into Beta instead of regular PS. How do I change this? I don't want to edit all my images in Beta, as beta doesn't even have my actions in there.
2. My actions disappeared. The ones I spent time creating, my own, and now they're not in there. Turns out I probably never saved them. So, I opened the regular version of PS23 (the latest update) and my actions are in there, but it won't let me save them. The toggle lines don't offer to save the actions. How do I save a friggin' action?! Not to mention that in my attempt to fix this yesterday some of those actions have just disappeared...from yesterday! I'm losing my mind here.
I've already searched Adobe's forum and I cannot find these answers! Does anyone know how to fix this crap. I really wish updates wouldn't change my preferences, this junk is going to set me back in editing.
-2a) I've already gone into App data/roaming/adobe/actions - nothing. I tried copying 2022 Actions Pallet.psp into the 2023 version and nothing happens. When I click on it, it opens up Beta and says "could not complete request because it's not the right kind of document."
